WhatsApp automation for jewellery shops

By Dreavis Technology · Published

The short answer

A jewellery shop can automate its daily rate card in four steps: capture the live gold and silver rate, place it into a branded design, send it to the customer list on WhatsApp at a fixed time, and give the owner a simple screen to correct anything. The key rule is that every number on the card comes from the recorded rate, never from typing.

The problem the rate card solves

Many jewellery shops send customers the day’s gold and silver rate every morning. Done by hand, someone checks the rate, types it into a poster and forwards it. It takes time every day, gets skipped on busy mornings, and one wrong digit can become a pricing dispute at the counter.

The four parts of an automated rate card

A working system has four parts, each doing one job:

  • Rate capture: the gold and silver rates are collected automatically each morning, so nobody types a figure.
  • Card generation: the rates are placed into the shop’s own design, with its logo, colours and festival themes.
  • Scheduled broadcast: the finished card is sent to the customer list on WhatsApp at the same time every day.
  • Owner control: a simple admin screen lets the owner adjust the published rate and choose the card style.

Why accuracy has to be built in

A rate card is a price. If an AI image tool draws the numbers, it can get them wrong. The safer design draws every figure with code from the rate held in the system and uses AI only for visual finish, so the number on the card always matches the recorded one.

What to check before you build

Before starting, a shop should settle these points:

  • Where the live rate comes from, and who is allowed to override it.
  • Whether customers have agreed to receive messages from the shop, and how they can opt out.
  • Which WhatsApp sending method will be used, since the rules and costs differ between methods.
  • Who in the shop owns the customer list and the admin login.

A real example

Dreavis Technology built this system, together with the website, for Chinnaseit Jewellery in Pernambut, Tamil Nadu. It is in daily use. The full breakdown, including screenshots, is on the Work page. No measured figures are published for it yet, and this article does not claim any.

Frequently asked questions

Can WhatsApp send the gold rate to customers automatically every day?

Yes. A scheduled broadcast can send a finished rate card to the customer list at a fixed time each day, as long as customers have agreed to receive the messages.

Will the rate on the card always be correct?

It can be, if the figures are drawn by code from the recorded rate rather than typed or generated by an image model. The owner can also correct the published rate from an admin screen.

Does the shop need a new app?

No. Customers receive the card in WhatsApp, which they already use. The owner uses a simple admin screen on a phone or computer.
